HSD Receives 20th Consecutive GFOA Certificate of Achievement
The Hermiston School District is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2025. This marks the twentieth consecutive year the district has earned this prestigious honor.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. Its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management, reflecting a continued commitment to transparency, accuracy, and excellence in public financial reporting.
